The
famous “Biggin Hill Aerodrome” which was so prominent in the Battle of
Britain, is situated near to the Park and now only has light commercial
and private flying.
The area surrounding the
Park is of stunning woodland, yet there are frequent trains from either
Orpington or Bromley to London. Perfect for those who like to be
within a stone's throw of the City but enjoy the countryside too much
to move away completely.
The towns of Bromley, Croydon and Westerham are also within close proximity of the Park.
For golf enthusiasts, there is a course only a short walk from the Park entrance.
Most Park Homes here
come within Band A for Council Tax which is currently £773.52 for
2007/08. Some of the more spacious modern homes may fall within
bands B or C. New purchasers should note that there is NO STAMP
DUTY ON PARK HOMES.
